Shock of Daylight - Deep Sea Breath EP

Shock of Daylight is a London artist with an output steeped in warped electronica. Crafting sounds that sit somewhere between the ambient shoegaze of Ulrich Schnauss and Fuck Buttons' darker menace, debut EP Deep Sea Breath is a collection of fuzzy edged instrumentals that absorb and delight in equal measure.

Title track, Deep Sea Breath is a glorious loop of sequenced reverb, whilst successor Rausch prompts comparisons with Public Transport through visceral waves of foreboding bass.

The spiraling guitar hook of Reich then gives way to Brushstrokes  blurred confusion before closing track We Calcimine Fathers cuts a montage of abstract atmospherics.
