Strawberry Fields: An Evening of Contemporary Noise

It sometimes feels like the UK music scene is trapped a never-ending cycle of folding record labels, artist insolvency and premature venue closures, so it's always encouraging to hear of the occasional success story...

One such triumph, is 'Strawberry Fields' - a monthly showcase of psychedelia, space-rock and shoegaze, promoted by Big Bird Music and held at the George Tavern in Stepney, East London.

Since its launch night in August 2010, Strawberry Fields has championed some of the best emerging talent on the circuit, recently boasting a headline performance by the superb Falling Spikes.

The night returns this Friday (April 1st), promising more psych-fuelled adventures with Daylight Frequencies, The Enters, Sunlight Service Group and Thee Piaticions all taking to the stage. Early arrival is encouraged for a billing full of genuine quality.

Strawberry Fields: An Evening of Contemporary Noise is held on the first Friday of every month. For details and directions, point your browser at any of the following links. Facebook MySpace
